Back in 2017, we started Bridge Hill Eye as a mobile optometry office. Simple idea: bring good eye care to the people of Kansas City who needed it most, instead of making them come find it.
We started small, just two ISL communities. Now we're seeing over 400 people in ISL communities, 200+ homebound patients, and folks in 60+ retirement communities around KC, plus a handful of local businesses. Same care you'd get in a doctor's office, just delivered to your door.
Our doctors handle everything from routine checkups to keeping an eye on conditions like dry eye, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. We'll get your prescription squared away and bring along 200+ frames so you can actually try things on at home instead of guessing.
Once we edge your lenses in house, we bring your new glasses right to you. Need something adjusted? Just give us a call or shoot us an email and we'll swing by.
In October 2023, we opened our first brick and mortar spot in downtown Overland Park. So now you've got options. Come see us in person, in an office with all the latest gear. Honestly, we think you'll be surprised by how different this eye exam feels from your last one.
We carry a lot of the brands you'd expect from a good optical shop, plus something you won't find anywhere else, our own line, BeKC.
BeKC frames are only at Bridge Hill Eye. We made them ourselves. Every pair is named after a KC neighborhood or a local favorite, so whether you're a Hyde person, a Westport person, or you're all about Charlie Hustle or Normal Human, there's a frame for that.
